HABJ member, KRIV's Isiah Carey named NABJ Region V Journalist of the Year

HOUSTON—The Houston Association of Black Journalists (HABJ) is proud to announce that our very own Isiah Carey of Fox 26 News (KRIV-TV) has received the honor of National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) Region V Journalist of the Year.

The Baton Rouge native and Southern University graduate has worked for WHBQ-TV in Memphis, WAFB in Baton Rouge, KARK in Arkansas, BET Networks and a host of radio stations throughout his distinguished career.

A consummate journalist and professional, Carey has used his success to not only advance his career but also to encourage and inspire future journalists, always there to lend a hand to HABJ and NABJ.
